Who Needs to Attend?
Firms that provide engineering laboratory services and practice geotechnical engineering, including members of the Geotechnical and Materials Engineers Committee (GMEC) who are employed by ACEC Florida member firms.
Hotel Information
We have secured special group rate at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld for $219.00 per night. Self-Parking and Valet Parking will be available. ACEC Florida has received a discounted Self-Parking Rate of $18 per car. Valet Parking will be available for
$54 per day.
Welcome Social
Please note that this year’s event begins Wednesday, March 26th at 6:30 p.m. with our Welcome Social, and concludes Friday, March 28th at 12:00 p.m. following our last educational session. Registration Check-In will begin at 4:30pm on Wednesday, March 26th.
Release Waiver

The GMEC Award recognizes outstanding personal efforts on the part of its recipient to advance the technical and professional practice of geotechnical engineering firms in Florida for a minimum of ten (10) years.

Cancellation Policy
When the circumstances preventing the registrant’s attendance are such as to be beyond his control, requests for registration cancellation must be received in writing from the participant before 5:00 p.m. at least 10 business days prior to the event.
The cancellation fee is $50. No refunds will be issued for cancellations submitted less than 10 business days prior to the event. Substitutions are permitted at any time. However, if non-members replace members, a full registration fee will be
charged. The difference in fees will be charged at the registration desk prior to participation in the event. If you have any questions, please reach out to Madison Whittington-Baschoff.
