On behalf of our new chair, Darek Brandt, PE, we invite you to join us next Wednesday for the first ACEC-Florida Buildings Committee Meeting of 2026.
Is this meeting for you? It IS if you answer “yes” to any of the following questions:
- In your profession, do you design or assess buildings or systems for buildings?
- Would you like to connect with your industry peers and discuss issues core to all disciplines, or perhaps unique to your specific discipline?
- Would you like to discuss proposed legislation and rules that may affect our industry regarding buildings?
On March 11 at 10:30 a.m., we will be discussing the goals and schedule for the committee as well as reviewing the two proposed rule updates you will find below. Please be prepared to discuss your thoughts as that will help shape the committee’s official
position that will then be reviewed by the CLGR for potential adoption.
Additionally, you are encouraged to use the link at the bottom of the explanation below to submit your OWN comments before the March 31 deadline.
Here are the meeting details. Feel free to add this to your calendar. Registration is not required.
